Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What's the difference between game modes?

Zero-Sum Mode: The total score at the end of a round must be 0. Suitable for Mahjong, etc. Normal Mode: No restriction on total score. Suitable for board games, etc.

Q. What is Display Mode?

It's a feature to display scores on a large screen like an iPad so all players can check current points from a distance. The font size automatically adjusts to the score length.

Q. How long is data stored?

Basically, it is stored permanently. However, if there is no access for a long period (more than 1 year), it may be deleted due to server capacity constraints.

Q. I entered the wrong score

The current version does not have a score correction feature. Please enter an adjustment score in a new round or recreate the game. We plan to add a correction feature in future updates.

Q. Can I use it on my smartphone?

Yes. PointPia uses responsive design and can be used comfortably on smartphones, tablets, and PCs.

Q. Can I use it offline?

Sorry, the current version does not support offline functionality. An internet connection is required.

Q. Can I backup my data?

Currently, there is no data export feature for users. For important data, we recommend keeping records such as screenshots.
